Weird Bass started with a fish, a photo, and one unforgettable comment.

After catching a 41.25" musky, I shared a photo with my nephew, Ryan. His response? “I just thought that was a really weird bass.”

And just like that, Weird Bass was born.

I made Ryan the very first Weird Bass shirt, and what started as a family joke quickly turned into an idea worth running with.

Since then, we’ve been creating fishing apparel for people who love fishing, having a good time, and maybe catching a few “weird bass” of their own.

Thanks, Ryan, for the inspiration, and for giving Weird Bass its name.
